"Race" and "Rasse" - Lost in Translation
Since the midth of March, when the geneticist David Reich published his article "How Genetics Is Changing Our Understanding of 'Race'" in the New York Times, there is a controversial debate about the categories "race", "Rasse" going on and whether or not or to what extent these are biologically determined. Together with other scientists, Tino Plümecke advocates a differentiated view of genetic differences:
